Wrangler who is my world is next to me. Rex the dog who knows my emotions and what I need from him. Cinch who I feel like was brought into my life to keep me on my toes. Remington who is still finding his place with us cause me to wonder about his place in our family.
Fonster is my Fuggler who has a job of holding my glasses at night. My book of prayers, I read every morning. Petey’s Ashes are part of a beautiful paper weight and hopefully Puma’s Ashes will be turned into something, too.
Can it be one thing for one minute if it is a really good narrative? 4 minutes about things on my desk would be boring as hell, but one minute about my calculator would be riveting.
The hot pot of tea in the morning prepares me. The view out the window of birds in the flowering native shrubs warms the heart. Reading the online news in bed eases me into the day. The humour that comes with companionship sustains me.
A bottle of coke to ease my sore throat. My calendar to remind me of the deeds to be done. My husband’s autographed Cheap Trick’s memorabilia from daughter, a globe on wheels.
