This March, we will have been open for 3 years.  We have met some interesting customers along the way including neighbors we never knew, local businesses, and others from Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.  We never knew that the owners of Access Magazine were in our area.  City of Tampa, Lisa J. Montelione, Tampa City Council District 7, is also a neighbor and she ordered cupcakes from us for an election party.  Mary Lou Janson, Media & Public Relations, blogged about us and that was so wonderful.  Unfortunately, I had some pressing issues in the back and was on the computer at the time but she spoke with Mike.  The Public Defenders Office visited us.  Thanks Ms. O’Shea.  We learned about some independent companies including a very faitful devotee of cupcakes, AnnMarie who tutored people on PC instruction.

We connected with the Brass Top and donated cupcakes for some of their events, inlcuding some gift certificates.  MMFitness came in several times.  Mojos loved our cupcakes and sold them for a time as did Bear’s Groves.  Martin Reznicek, Czech Republic, filmed Michael while I was teaching at Saint Leo.  So we were on a news station in the Czech. Edward Jones, a book club, and the Girl Scouts held meetings at our store.

DuraSeal, Master Concrete Coatings, law offices, realtors, Club Renaissance, Robin Savage, comedian/writer, Skipper’s Smokehouse, Regions bank, Florida College, Lisa Unger, The Ritz Carlton, Supervisor of Elections, Penn Tank Lines, Buddy Baseball, Life life, the Crime Investigator Unit, nearby Police Dept, etc.  These are many of the cards we collected along the way learning more about Tampa then we ever knew or could hope to learn by chance.  All it all, an interesting ride!
